Several years back, a friend pulled out a new game to keep us occupied for an afternoon. After we finished making fun of the name, we started playing cornhole for the first time.
It truly was great fun, but good grief, it was near impossible to land a bag on the deck and have it stay there, because it would bounce right off, as though we were playing on a trampoline. Being an amateur woodworker, I decided that maybe I could do something about that.
And so it started. My first few attempts were an enormous improvement, but I wasn't satisfied for long. I looked into how the professional boards were constructed. I discovered baltic birch and the various methods to improve the strength of the boards.
This all led me to the boards that I make today. Have a look around, and when you're ready for the best that money can buy, contact me.
